3-day Top up w/out First Aid

Starting from October 2022, all close protection license holders are required to possess a first aid qualification and complete new top-up training prior to renewal. The top-up qualification encompasses:

– Physical intervention skills
– Knowledge of door supervision responsibilities
– Terror threat awareness

Operatives must ensure that their first aid qualification is valid for at least one year before undertaking the top-up training. Additionally, operatives must have a valid regulated Level 3 First Aid at Work certificate with at least 12 months remaining before starting this course. These new requirements aim to ensure that close protection operatives maintain the latest skills necessary to safeguard themselves, their clients, and the public effectively.
